Upper Blue Lake

Cindy and I camped at Upper Blue Lake the weekend of 7/29/05. There was a lot of construction going on around the Upper Blue Lake Dam, The Lower Blue Lake Campground and boat ramp. They are in the process of adding another 30-35 spaces at Lower Blue for RV sites. Unfortunately, they had the launch ramp torn up at Lower Blue as they are in the process of improving the ramp. The launch ramp at Upper Blue Lake Dam had trucks and cars all around it. There were two other ramps that could have been used. If it were not for my penchant for getting my two wheel drive truck thoroughly stuck I would have launched the boat on one of these. I did not manage to get a photo of the one trout I landed as I forgot the camera back at camp. I did get a picture of the campsite though.
