Tiger Creek Reservoir

Since I work at Tiger Creek Powerhouse I find it very tempting every day I drive by the reservoir on my way in to work. I logged several days of fishing there last year. All of the fishing listed below was in the stretch at the top end of the reservoir.

On one of the outings my friend Ben & I took we managed to walk farther down the reservoir. There is a lot of muck in this reservoir and it is very hazardous to try and walk across it to get to the water when the level is down. In several places we sank up over our knees in the muck and had to help each other out of it several times. On top of that we got skunked!

Be careful when wading this reservoir as the muck is treacherous!

Below is a list of the results:

July 25, 2005

Eleven Fish hooked, nine landed. Ten rainbow trout and one brown trout. The fish were all hooked on a #16 tan tungsten bead head GRHE nymph.

July 26, 2005
