2008 Outings
Ken Brown is putting together a list of outings for 2008. So Far we have found fishmasters for outings to Pyramid Lake, Hat Creek and Heenan Lake. When I figure out what weekend I would like to do an outing, I was thinking of having one on the Upper Mokleumne River. Anyone else interested in helping out as a fishmaster for an outing, please contact Ken Brown.

Conservation

We received a package of letters from the fourth grade class in Ione that participated in the Salmon In the Classroom program. There appeared to be a letter from each of the students thanking us for providing the aquarium and the salmon eggs. It seemed that the kids got a big kick out of watching the salmon grow. Maybe there are some future flyfishers among them. A big thanks to Bruce Rollans for keeping this special program going.

I have created a page of links to river flow information. There are quite a few rivers and lakes represented here. If you would like one added send me an email, and I will try to find it.
The Seminar, "An Introduction to Flyfishing" on April 1st, 2006 was a success. This seminar covered quite a bit of information, but we did not have time to get the casting instruction in. Casting instruction will be available during the BBQ for those that wish to participate.
